The activities focus on helping students identify a range of important skills and develop an understanding of the ways they can build and demonstrate these to employers.

Key learning outcomes for this lesson include:

  • Understanding the key skills that employers want from young people so they can do their job well

  • Recognising how well they currently perform each skill and how they can improve them

  • Demonstrating how to provide evidence of their skills when talking to employers
