The Wheel of Numbers is a lively, interactive activity designed to help your child spot all the surprising places numbers show up in everyday life — from the time on the clock to the ingredients involved in baking to how they are used in football.

Join EduTuber and BAFTA‑winning presenter Maddie Moate, who teams up with Barclays UK Chief Exec Vim Maru and National Numeracy Ambassador Rotimi Merriman‑Johnson (Mr MoneyJar) — plus a pair of enthusiastic primary school pupils — to take on fun, real‑world number challenges. The on‑demand recording lasts around 30 minutes and is perfect to watch together so you can pause, chat, and work out the answers as a team using a worksheet.

But first, watch Maddie as she shares all the ways she uses numbers in her day. It’s a great reminder of just how much numbers shape our world, and why building confidence early on makes such a big difference.
