The ultimate number assembly on demand 

Get ready to transform your classroom with the LifeSkills ‘Wheel of Numbers’ on demand assembly—a game show style event to spark number confidence in 7–11-year-olds. In partnership with National Numeracy, we’ve created an interactive assembly that’s anything but ordinary. 

Imagine your students cheering, competing, and discovering just how powerful numbers are in everyday life—from scoring goals in sports to shopping for treats and baking. 

Hosted by the brilliant EduTuber and BAFTA-winning presenter Maddie Moate, with Barclays UK Chief Exec Vim Maru and National Numeracy Ambassador Rotimi Merriman-Johnson (aka Mr MoneyJar) as contestants who go head-to-head through number decision challenges. Your pupils will play along, answer wheel questions, and see the importance of numbers all around us.  

To support your pupils join in the ‘Wheel of Numbers assembly’ we’ve created two worksheet download options— one with just answers, and one with both questions and answers for pupils who might need extra support. Educators can use the version with questions to assist pupils during the event. You can also download the ‘Number Confidence Star’ certificate to award pupils for their efforts. 

Before you watch the assembly, first watch Maddie as she shares all the ways she uses numbers in her day. It’s a great reminder of just how much numbers shape our world, and why building confidence early on makes such a big difference.
